Civil Axe Grand Opening

Huntsville Escape Rooms local owners, Jorge and Erin Lima, are hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening Sept. 15 for Civil Axe Throwing, another unique and new entertainment experience at Campus No. 805.

The sport of axe throwing originated in Canada and has very recently begun to migrate to the U.S. in many large cities. The Civil Axe Throwing concept is to take what has typically been an outdoor sport and bring it indoors in a climate controlled environment.

“The two-hour experience is a fun and safe activity facilitated by trained axe throwing coaches,” said Jorge Lima. “Anyone can learn to throw an axe pretty quickly and it is not determined by size or strength. Once you stick your first throw, you’ll be hooked.”

Civil Axe Throwing says they selected the Campus No. 805 for their entertainment venue because it is home to many great restaurants and activities and is minutes away from their other popular business, Huntsville Escape Rooms.

Ticket prices are $30 ($15 / hour).  A minimum group size of 6 participants is required to make the game fun and entertaining.  Reservations may be made online at civilaxethrowing.com/bookhuntsville
