The days of forging your parent’s signature to get out of gym are over- Straight to Ale is opening today in their new space in the Campus 805 gym. The 45,000-square-foot space is home to a brewhouse, a taproom, a patio, Ronnie Raygun’s Arcade, a speakeasy, and more! Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll find at the new Straight to Ale at Campus 805.
The tasting room is decorated with some awesome art from their beer labels.
The taproom bar surface is constructed from the floorboards of the old Stone Middle School gym, and the bottom of the bar is made from the bleachers, complete with original student graffiti.
Want to add your mark to the bleachers, too? There’s a whole wall for your graffiti!
The gym’s scoreboard still hangs on the wall in the brewery, but now it’s used to time the brewing process! Buzzer means beer!
The spacious outdoor patio has a poured concrete bar, ten additional taps, and a great view of the S.R. Butler Green.
What’s behind this nondescript door? It’s not easy to speak about, so you’ll just have to find out for yourself!
How awesome is this graffiti?
Hope you’ve enjoyed these few snaps of the new Straight to Ale location, but there is so much more to see! Stop by the opening party TODAY, Saturday July 9 from 3-11pm at Campus 805 to see the new space for yourself! See you on Campus!
