Campus No. 805 announced today that a brand new 16,000 SF retail building will be the latest addition to the popular West Huntsville development.

The new retail space will be located at the corner of Clinton Avenue and Lowery Street on the east end of Campus.  

Developers Bill Roark and Randy Schrimsher said the new retail space will add even more variety to the already diverse project.  Yellowhammer Brewing, Straight to Ale Brewing, Lone Goose Saloon, Bubba’s Silver Spoon Catering, Stone Event Rental, and others have previously announced their plans for Campus No. 805.

Construction on the new retail facility is already underway and expected to be completed within the next six months.  

Schrimsher said, “The new retail building at Campus 805 gives us more diversity, more opportunity, and yet another positive impact on the entire area.

“I want to add that so much of what we’re doing at Campus 805 would not be possible but for the vision and commitment of my friend, Bill Roark.”

Roark, a partner of Yellowhammer Brewing, said the newest addition to Campus No. 805 is another step forward in making the development one of the region’s premier entertainment and retail destinations.  

“This is exciting for my family and I but should also be exciting for the people of this area,” said Roark.  “This new retail building will be marketed to local, boutique stores, coffee houses, restaurants, retail, and many other things that aren’t currently anywhere in the area.

“We’ve said from the beginning that we believe this is a game-changing development for not just this area but also this region.  We’re working to do great things here in West Huntsville.”

Campus No. 805 is a 13-acre mixed-use development project located at the former Roy L. Stone Middle School near the intersection of Triana Boulevard, Clinton Avenue and Governors Drive in West Huntsville. The development will also feature a public recreational lawn, and a wide range of mixed-use elements expected to include restaurants, retail shops, and special event venues.
