Fun laser shows for the public support an innovative program of science, technology, art and music education, inspiring and growing the next generation of entertainment artists and technicians.
Entertainment laser shows launched over Halloween at Campus 805, giving another reason to visit this beloved destination. Every Saturday evening you can experience laser shows ranging from a classic album like Laser Rush 2112 or Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, to fun mixes like Laser Holidays or 80’s Retro. The mix of brilliant colored lasers, fog and loud music creates an experience to enjoy with family, friends or on a date night.
As well as awesome laser shows, Rocket City Lasers’ passion is delivering after school clubs, camps, classes, parties and more, instructing students from middle school through to adults, how to produce their own laser shows. Equal parts art, music and science, laser shows are a fun entry point into entertainment technology, and the future vision includes lighting and sound design too.
“Our unique business really fits at Campus 805” said Alex Hall, Founder and CEO. “After running some laser camps this summer, we knew we had something that created big positive impacts, we just needed to find a convenient and central location. Lasers fit right alongside axe throwing, gaming and arcades. For parents dropping off their kids for a class after school, no more waiting in the car when Happy Hour is happening just down the stairs. Pizza or Sushi can be had after pick up too!”
Shows are in the 141 seat AV Room at Campus 805, just inside the main entrance of the Stone Event Center. Tickets for laser shows are $12 and can be purchased online at tickets.rocketcitylasers.com. Instructional programs start in 2024.
