Campus No. 805 is honoring Huntsville Hospital health care workers for their excellence in patient care by presenting Huntsville Hospital Foundation with gift cards valued at over $50,000. The Foundation will distribute the gift cards to various departments throughout Huntsville Hospital Main, Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children, and Madison Hospital.
The gift presentation was held during a news conference on Monday, May 23, in the Stone Event Center at Campus No. 805.
Campus No. 805 owners and tenants recognize the challenges the pandemic has placed on the community the past two years, particularly for health care workers. From COVID-19 testing to critical and routine medical care, Huntsville Hospital remained steadfast in its mission to serve the community.
“We have been well cared for during the pandemic by Huntsville Hospital and want their employees to know how much we appreciate their sacrifice and work,” said Randy Schrimsher, President of Schrimsher Company, Inc, developer of Campus No. 805.
“When I recently needed a procedure at Huntsville Hospital, I was so impressed with the care I received. Watching everyone from doctors, nurses and technicians to food service workers made me realize how much they do for patients. This donation is just a small thank you for the people who are on the front lines every day.”
Bill Roark, partner with Yellowhammer Brewing at Campus No. 805, says he hopes the Campus No. 805 gift cards will provide a respite for hospital workers.
“I have been a patient several times in Huntsville Hospital and have always had exceptional care,” said Roark. “It’s important to let these workers know how much they are valued and appreciated. I encourage other businesses in the community to do likewise in recognizing and supporting hospital employees.”
“Huntsville Hospital Foundation is extremely grateful to Campus No. 805 for recognizing the invaluable work of our health care heroes in this generous way,” said Sarah Savage-Jones, president of Huntsville Hospital Foundation. “Departments across our hospitals are thrilled to be able to use these gift cards for a much-needed night out, team meal or morale boost. After more than two years of fighting Covid, it means the world that our community continues to thank them in creative ways like this.”
